We recently welcomed a fantastic new client to Inspire KBB – Andrew Osborne Kitchens in Southampton.
During one of our first onboarding calls, their Director, Matt, shared an approach they use in their showroom that really caught our attention.
It’s a smart and impactful way to answer a question that every kitchen retailer hears from prospective customers: “Why should we choose you?”
Instead of launching into a lengthy pitch or listing their achievements, Matt takes a different approach.
He has a simple, confident response that speaks volumes without saying much at all.
He just says, “Take a look at our Wall of Fame…”
So, what is this ‘Wall of Fame’?
It’s an impressive display right in their showroom, filled with over forty 5-star reviews from satisfied customers. Each review is printed out and presented for prospective clients to read, digest, and be influenced by.
The wall is a silent but powerful advocate, showing real feedback from real customers and letting their words build trust and confidence at the moment buyers are considering their options.
We all know how valuable online reviews are, especially with big-ticket items like new kitchens. They’re often the first impression customers get of a kitchen company.
But taking those reviews offline and putting them on display at the point of sale is a brilliant move! It doubles their impact, reinforcing that positive impression and making it tangible for customers who are right there, ready to make a decision about moving forward.
It’s a simple idea, but the effect is profound, and it’s an excellent reminder of how powerful your customer testimonials can be.
