What do these KBB industry insights mean for your business?

Last week, I attended the Kbsa 2024 conference. Another quality event organised by and attended by people fully invested in the industry.

Over the day, the organisers and presenters gathered feedback about the state of the industry from the attendees—several hundred kitchen retailers and industry partners.

Some of the poll results were particularly striking:

  • 80% of attendees expect kitchen sales to increase in 2025

  • 86% believe marketing is critical to their business success

  • 81% think AI will create new opportunities for kitchen retailers within the next 12 months

These statistics reflect a collective optimism and excitement about the opportunities on the horizon.

However, the question is: What do these sentiments mean to you and your business?

If 80% of your peers are expecting sales growth, how are you preparing to capture a bigger share of the market?

Do you have a clear strategy for reaching new customers and standing out from the competition?

With 86% of retailers emphasizing the importance of marketing, are you investing enough in the areas that will truly drive results?

And with AI seen as a game-changer by 81% of industry professionals, what role might it play in your business?

Whether it’s streamlining operations, improving customer experience, or enhancing decision-making, AI could be a powerful tool for the future. Have you thought about how you can integrate it into your business?

The kitchen industry seems poised for growth, and while the numbers are encouraging, they also highlight the importance of being proactive.

Simply expecting sales to rise isn’t enough—how are you planning to ensure your business takes full advantage of these shifts in the market?

I’m not suggesting you need to make any immediate decisions, but these results offer a lot to think about.

How do you interpret them?

What action will you take to ensure your business thrives in the year ahead?

When you’re ready to discuss ideas or explore opportunities, we’re here to help. In the meantime, I encourage you to reflect on these insights and consider how they align with your current plans.
