It’s a strange thing, this ‘lockdown’.
Yes, it feels odd and somewhat claustrophobic, but it doesn’t half do wonders for productivity.
I’ve been getting a lot done around home over the past few weekends. I’m already thinking that the Easter weekend is going to be my most productive DIY bank holiday of all time.
And the reason why is simple.
I’ve currently got the time at weekends to do the jobs that need to get done, but generally get superseded by a bike ride, game of golf, sports fixture on TV, or a meal out.
I also know that if these jobs are ever going to get done, I’ll never have a better opportunity than now. When things go back to normal, and social engagements crop up again, I know that I’ll find myself getting stuck back into the busyness of life.
Over the past couple of years, I’ve spoken to hundreds of independent KBB retailers, and over 90% have the same job on their marketing ‘To Do’ list.
It’s a job that stays there day after day, week after week, month after month.
It’s the improvement of their website.
If you know that your website needs to be improved, refined or rebuilt, it’s highly likely that you will never have a better opportunity than the one laid out for you right now.
As soon as things go back to normal, you know full well that you’ll rush headlong into a whirl of activity. If you haven’t taken this time to sort your website, you also know that another six months will have passed before you’ve had a chance to draw breath.
I’ve written before - without a website that does justice to your business, you’re missing opportunities every week and fighting with both arms tied behind your back. As we all get used to living our lives ‘virtually’ over these few weeks of the shutdown, this issue is only going to become truer moving forward.
For you to thrive in the post-corona economy, your website needs to be up to scratch. And, if you know that it needs work, now is the time to get that done.
To help you along the way, I’d love to offer you a conversation about what could and should be on your website, and the direction it needs to head.
We do a lot of marketing for many kitchen, bedroom and bathroom retailers. This means we’ve got a vast amount of information when it comes to what does and doesn’t work for KBB websites. In truth, we probably have more information on the subject than anyone else in the UK.
I’d like to give you the benefit of that knowledge, no strings attached. Let’s book a call, and we’ll go through your website in detail. We’ll highlight areas that need improvement, and generally work out what needs to happen to make it work much better, and fully reflect the business you’ve built.
To schedule a call to do that, just click here.
It’s the KBB retailers who use this time in lockdown wisely, that’ll thrive out of the other side. So, I urge you, if this is something you know you need to do, don’t put it off – schedule a call and let’s get connected.
There’s never been a better opportunity.
