I don’t mean to brag, but when I look at a kitchen website, I can tell who designed it in under 10 seconds flat.
(That’s about the same time it takes to make a first impression, btw.)
No, I won’t know exactly who put it together. But, what I can immediately work out, is whether it’s been created by a Website Designer … or a Website Developer.
The two are very different. And the chances are, if the latter built yours, you’re missing out on clients and customers.
You see, a Website Developer understands how to put things together - they code for fun, their fingers a blur over the keyboard.
But very rarely do they produce something that looks truly beautiful.
And make no mistake, your kitchen website needs to be beautiful.
You’re in the business of WOW! But, if your website doesn’t wow the prospects with just how aesthetically pleasing it is, you’re not going to elicit the emotional response needed, to get them to take the next step.
We see it a lot with the social media work we do for kitchen retailers and studios. The posts that get the most attention are always stunning projects and case studies because they create immediate desire. They’re aspirational.
Here’s the other side of the coin, though – your website can’t be all style and no substance, either.
Instead, you need a combination: beautiful, striking design, fused with conversion-optimised, well-built features that work to generate leads and appointments.

Do people regularly remark on how great your website is?
If they don’t, you're probably failing at the front end, which means you’re losing people before they even think of contacting you.
