Having achieved a degree in Business Studies, Emily’s sales and marketing career began in 1999 at Heinz, where she quickly impressed with her communication and writing skills. She took charge of creating and editing national press releases for household brands and managed promotional campaigns with supermarket retailers.

National account management roles followed with Nestle then Britvic, successfully growing turnover with major customers by careful strategic planning and developing strong customer relationships.

In 2013, with her family in tow, Emily embarked on a four-year adventure to Queensland, Australia. Venturing into a completely new sector, she worked for a market-leading education software company and in 2016 set up its new UK division, a business that is a thriving success and continues to grow.

Personal and professional endeavours into the unknown prove that Emily can turn a challenge into an opportunity. Never scared of new situations, her tenacity and persistence ensure she meets her goals, even in the toughest markets.

Emily understands that every client’s needs are unique. Empathetic and perceptive, clients love how her passion shows through in the projects she undertakes. She strives for excellence, quality and efficiency in everything she does, and her results prove it.

I am constantly imagining and rethinking my dream kitchen. I’ve recently moved house, and I’m really excited about creating my perfect kitchen. I am a typical target consumer for most kitchen retailers, which has me well-positioned to help home specialists market their businesses and increase sales.

I’m an outdoors girl. A perfect outing with my husband and three lively children would be conquering a high ropes course or a trip to the beach. I also love to go out for a long run or hike a mountain with our beloved Golden Retriever, Bella.

I have a real love of writing. By combining my journalistic skills with my business development experience, I know how to get a persuasive message across.

I’ve recently taken up netball with my 15-year-old daughter.
Our team get thrashed most weeks, but we have an absolute blast!

Here’s a Japanese proverb I live and swear by:
“Vision without action is just a daydream, action without vision is a nightmare”.
