As the weather starts to cool off, things are hotting up at Inspire KBB HQ. Everyone is into 5th gear, ensuring we deliver on our clients’ marketing strategies.
Thankfully for me, our Senior Project Manager, Charly Turnbull - the Queen of Implementation - is on hand. Charly is a vital part of everything we do at Inspire KBB, and I thought I’d take the opportunity to introduce her.
Charly is an avid implementer, keen problem solver, and skilled digital marketing practitioner. With over 11 years’ experience in the media and marketing industry, she is fast becoming the new best friend of kitchen retailers across the UK.
Our clients love working with her because she quickly gets things off their to-do lists, even when they’ve been there for years. Ask anyone who works with her, and they’ll tell you that EVERYONE needs a Charly Turnbull on their team.

Charly, when did you join KBB, and what did you do before?
I joined Inspire in March 2017. Before this, I worked in Radio at KISS FM and Magic FM in London. I was responsible for managing Promotions, Sponsorships, Competitions and Social Media coverage for clients who wanted to advertise their product, film or event.
What do you love most about your role at Inspire KBB?
The people! My father has a local business background, which means I have a natural attraction to working with people like him and applying my skills to help them succeed. For example, taking a Kitchen business from zero Social Media presence to them having leads coming through Facebook, then seeing their response with their new audience, is something I just love!
What do you think makes Inspire KBB so effective?
Our people and our approach: we’re humans, not bots! Most of us have worked in sales and marketing for many years. I suggest not all Marketing Consultants offer the personal touch we do - we genuinely care!
That’s what makes working at Inspire KBB something to be proud of - we don’t look for the quick buck, not the easiest or most expensive way. We take every decision with our clients as if it were our own business.
What do you do for fun?
If I am not at a rugby match (I live in Twickenham), I’m usually at a local band night, or festival. I have a big passion for music, and my track record to date is 38 festivals.
What's your dream holiday destination?
I lived in America for a while. For me, the Deep South is my second home. I go there every year to visit friends … and live in a more peaceful environment for a few weeks.
Is there anything else you'd like people to know about you?
A little-known fact that surprises everyone is that I have a Master’s degree in American Politics & History.
